This initiative is a key part of our long-term product strategy and involves cutting-edge technologies in wireless networking, embedded systems, and open-source firmware.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Software Architect with deep expertise in Wi-Fi, Linux-based systems, and OpenWRT. In this role, you will lead the design and development of software components for advanced wireless networking devices such as routers and access points. You will be responsible for integrating, optimizing, and securing Linux-based embedded systems to deliver robust and scalable network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead architectural design for embedded software in Wi-Fi and networking devices
Develop and enhance firmware based on OpenWRT, including features such as network management, performance optimization, and security
Integrate multiple software components into stable, high-performing Linux-based systems
Perform system-level performance analysis and optimization (latency, throughput, reliability)
Implement security best practices across the software stack
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, product, and software engineering
Stay up to date with emerging trends in wireless, embedded, and open-source technologies
Minimum Qualifications:
BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
6+ years of experience in software engineering (or equivalent per degree level)
3+ years of hands-on experience with C/C++, Python, and shell scripting
Deep understanding of Linux kernel, networking stack, and embedded systems
Proven experience with OpenWRT or similar embedded Linux distributions
Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols and standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in GPU driver architecture or embedded graphics systems (advantage)
Familiarity with secure boot, firmware updates, and network security protocols
Experience integrating software with hardware-level APIs and SDKs
Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate across disciplines
