We are looking for a Backend Cloud Technical Lead to lead the backend architecture and hands-on development of a new SaaS platform. This role combines technical leadership with deep involvement in design, scalability, and cloud-native systems.
What You’ll Do
Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native backend services
Drive architectural decisions around scalability, performance, and reliability
Own backend systems including microservices, APIs, and distributed components
Work closely with Product, DevOps, and R&D teams
Set best practices for code quality, testing, and observability
What You Bring
6+ years of backend development experience in SaaS environments
Proven experience in a technical leadership or senior backend role
Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architectures
Hands-on experience with AWS
Strong skills in Node.js (Go or Python is a plus)
Experience with microservices, APIs, SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes
Nice to Have
Experience with real-time or high-throughput systems
Background in media, broadcast, or video platforms
