Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of complex software features in an embedded Linux environment.
Develop, debug, and maintain kernel-level software components.
Own software integration across multiple system components and ensure seamless system operation.
Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and system engineering teams.
Drive technical solutions from concept and architecture through development, integration, and delivery.
Take hands-on ownership of coding, debugging, and resolving complex technical challenges.
Design software architecture and write technical documentation and specifications.
Analyze and optimize HW/SW interfaces and system-level performance.
Requirements:
Proven experience in embedded software development on Linux platforms.
Extensive hands-on experience with Linux kernel development and customization.
Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
Deep understanding of operating systems internals, hardware architectures, and HW/SW partitioning.
Experience independently driving complex designs and solving challenging technical problems.
Strong knowledge of development toolchains, debugging methodologies, and automation frameworks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
High level of ownership, initiative, and ability to work independently.
Advantages:
Experience with storage systems (NVMe, block/stream storage).
Familiarity with hardware acceleration for AI/ML workloads.
Background in communication systems.
Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts in embedded environments.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMs, containers).
Experience working with ARM Cortex-A architectures.
Familiarity with FPGA-based development environments and related tools.
