Responsibilities:Participate in defining system architecture for multidisciplinary products.Design and develop electronic enclosures and boards according to structured product development processes.Define and manage integration documentation between hardware, firmware, and software components.Perform system-level integration and support field testing and live experiments.Manage and guide subcontractors in the development of complex electronic hardware. Requirements:5+ years of experience in the design and development of electronic circuits and complex digital/analog PCBs.Proven experience in high-speed board design, signal integrity, and system documentation.Hands-on experience in full hardware lifecycle: from requirement definition through design, layout supervision, integration, and DFM-oriented production.B.Sc. in Electrical EngineeringDeep understanding of complex architectures: CPU, DDR, FPGAs.Experience working closely with firmware/software teams and performing multi-disciplinary integration.Knowledge of Signal & Power Integrity simulations.Experience in hardware compliance testing and transfer to production.Experience with FPGA development (VHDL/Verilog) – an advantage.Previous team leadership or project management experience – an advantage.Strong system-level thinking and architecture planning capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about real-world experimentation and solving complex physical challenges in imaging, optics, and thermal systems. What You’ll Do: Conduct hands-on lab experiments involving optics, lasers, and thermal imaging Analyze wave optics, Gaussian beams, radiometry, and black body radiation behavior Support R&D efforts with optical simulations and data modeling Collaborate with system engineers and algorithm developers Work with tools like MATLAB, Python, and optical design software What You Bring: B.Sc. in Physics, Electro-Optics, or Electrical Engineering – mandatory M.Sc. or Ph.D. – advantage 3+ years hands-on experience in an R&D lab environment – must Strong grasp of wave optics, Gaussian optics, radiometry, and black body physics Experience in thermal imaging or radiometric systems – advantage Proficiency in MATLAB or Python – must Familiarity with Zemax, Modtran, OSLO, or LabVIEW – advantage Excellent teamwork and communication skills
