About the Role
A young and rapidly growing defense technology company in the drone and autonomous systems space is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join its flight control development team. The company combines the agility of a startup with the stability of a well-established defense ecosystem, developing advanced aerial platforms and autonomous capabilities.
In this role, you will work on real-time embedded software for autopilot and avionics systems, contributing to next-generation unmanned aerial platforms. The work includes developing flight control logic, integrating sensors, and building low-level software components for mission-critical systems.

Requirements
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in embedded software development using C/C++
Hands-on experience with autopilot systems, avionics, unmanned systems, or flight control – required
Experience developing software on Linux-based environments
Strong understanding of real-time systems and low-level software development
Experience integrating sensors, communication interfaces, or hardware drivers – advantage
Experience developing software for microcontrollers – advantage
Familiarity with Python – advantage
Experience with drone simulators, navigation systems, or flight controllers (e.g., PX4) – advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile R&D environment
