About the role
A leading defense technology company is looking for a Systems Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing advanced navigation, tracking, and sensing solutions for airborne platforms. The role combines system engineering, sensor technologies, and hands-on technical work in complex products operating in demanding environments.
Responsibilities
Lead the definition and development of navigation and tracking capabilities for advanced airborne systems
Work with inertial sensors, GNSS technologies, and tracking components throughout the product lifecycle
Define test methodologies, calibration processes, and performance validation activities
Collaborate with software, hardware, algorithm, and system engineering teams
Analyze system performance and support the integration of sensing technologies into operational products
Participate in technical investigations, design reviews, and technology evaluations
Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering or development of complex technological systems
Experience with navigation, tracking, sensing, or positioning technologies
Hands-on experience working with hardware-oriented systems
Familiarity with INS, IMU, GNSS, GPS, or related technologies
Experience with Matlab or Python
Strong analytical and system-level thinking capabilities
High level of English and willingness to travel abroad
Advantages
Experience with inertial systems or inertial measurement technologies
Background in airborne systems, UAVs, robotics, or defense programs
Experience developing navigation or tracking algorithms
