Sales Engineer (5381)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team and drive growth in the optical communications market in Israel. This position is ideal for individuals with a technical background in communications, networking, or electronics, who are ready to combine their expertise with sales acumen. The role is 100% hybrid, with the option to work from our Herzliya office.

Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a technical or sales role within the communications, networking, or electronics fields. Candidates with backgrounds at major tech companies like Intel are highly valued.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with solid problem-solving abilities. Capable of managing complex technical sales processes and building long-term customer relationships.
Language: High proficiency in English.

Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Customer Engagement: Develop and execute sales strategies for optical communication products, focusing on optical transceivers and active optical cables, tailored for key B2B customers in Israel. Actively engage with customers and respond to daily inquiries to ensure high levels of satisfaction and continuous engagement.
Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and collaboration. Act as the primary point of contact, facilitating ongoing support and ensuring customers' evolving needs are met.
Sales Channel Management & Negotiation: Collaborate with direct customers and sales channels, managing price and lead-time negotiations. Support technical qualification processes to secure design wins, coordinating closely with internal engineering and product management teams.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize sales reporting tools to monitor forecasts, orders, backlog, shipments, and opportunities. Prepare performance reports and presentations to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales team, technical engineers, and product line managers to align customer requirements with the company’s offerings and ensure smooth operations across departments.
