In this role, you will oversee manufacturing engineering processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals while ensuring strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance and support to achieve project success and team objectives.
Design, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for cost-effective production.
Identify and resolve manufacturing issues promptly to minimize production impact.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead cross-functional projects for process optimization and cost reduction.
Collaborate closely with design engineering, production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to align manufacturing activities effectively.
Communicate project status and key metrics regularly with stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally within the defense or aerospace sectors, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in manufacturing software tools, CAD/CAM systems, and ERP systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance standards.
