We Are Looking for a Backend Team Lead for a Fintech Company in TLV!
Leading a dynamic team of backend engineers and AI/ML specialists, your contributions will directly impact key performance indicators and overall success.
This position is both strategic and hands-on, involving the architecture and implementation of scalable systems that power core financial risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a highly skilled team that architects and builds scalable systems to detect and mitigate financial risks in real time.
- Work closely with the business and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML engineers, product managers, analysts, and other engineering squads, to align risk management strategies with business goals.
- Proactively maintain the stability, security, and adaptability of financial risk management systems.
- Leverage data analysis and insights to ensure alignment with growth and evolving business needs.
- Respond quickly and proactively to emerging trends, delivering impactful solutions to protect financial success.
Requirements:
- B.Sc in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience managing a team (preferably 2+ years) and leading projects hands-on from start to finish (preferably 8+ years, focusing on system architecture).
- Proficiency in modern system architecture with large-scale and high-performance systems.
- Impact-driven – use data to ensure every task moves the needle and utilize resources to maximize the team's impact.
- Team player with strong communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative, solution-oriented, and able to maintain a ‘can do’ attitude while working efficiently under pressure and uncertainty.
- Adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- Passion for data.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with software development in Python.
- Experience with cloud technology.
- Experience in managing data specialists (AI/ML engineers, analysts).
