We are looking for an experienced algorithms engineer to join our R&D team. You will develop navigation, estimation and sensor-fusion algorithms for our fire control systems. You will own the full cycle: modeling and simulation, real-time implementation, integration, and field testing.
What Youll Do
Design, develop and validate navigation algorithms based on inertial sensors (IMU/INS) and external aiding sensors
Develop and tune estimation filters: KF, EKF, UKF, error-state filters, particle filters and related methods
Develop statistical data-fusion algorithms that combine multiple heterogeneous sensors and information sources
Perform sensor error modeling, calibration, alignment and observability analysis
Build simulations, run Monte Carlo performance analyses, and analyze recorded field data
Take part in field trials, integration and performance verification
Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related field
At least 47 years of hands-on experience developing navigation and/or estimation algorithms
In-depth knowledge of estimation theory and the Kalman filter family, including design, tuning and consistency analysis
Proven experience with multi-sensor statistical data fusion
Strong foundation in probability, statistics, linear algebra, kinematics and attitude representations (quaternions, DCM, Euler angles)
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and/or Python
Experience working with real sensor data and analyzing test results
Advantages
Background in GNC (Guidance, Navigation & Control): guidance laws, control loops, stabilization and pointing
Experience in target tracking, fire control, electro-optics or computer vision
Real-time C/C++ development on embedded platforms
Experience in the defense industry
