This role requires hands-on satellite development experience and a strong system-level perspective across the full lifecycle – from architecture and requirements through integration, testing and launch readiness.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead system engineering and architecture for multidisciplinary satellite systems
* Define and manage system requirements, interfaces and technical budgets
* Drive system-level trade-offs across performance, mass, power, communications and data
* Lead major design reviews including SRR, PDR and CDR
* Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines and subsystems
* Lead system integration, verification and validation activities
* Define test strategies for satellite subsystems, analyze results and drive technical conclusions
* Manage technical risks and design maturity throughout the development lifecycle
* Serve as a key technical authority and interface with internal teams, partners and customers
Requirements
* B.Sc. in Aeronautical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
* 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in **satellite or space system development**
* Proven experience working on multidisciplinary satellite programs
* Experience with satellite architecture, requirements and interface management
* Hands-on involvement in integration, verification and testing of satellite systems or subsystems
* Experience leading system design reviews and engineering processes
* Familiarity with space engineering standards and methodologies – advantage
* Experience with MATLAB, Python, STK, GMAT or similar engineering tools – advantage
* Previous involvement in launch activities – advantage
* Electro-optical payload experience – advantage
* High-level technical English
Previous end-to-end satellite development experience is highly important for this position.
