Responsibilities:
Lead board development throughout the full product lifecycle, from architecture and specification to implementation, bring-up, qualification, and release.
Take full ownership of electrical design, including specifications, schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout guidance, fabrication, and assembly.
Perform hands-on board bring-up, validation, debugging, and troubleshooting in the lab until a stable production-ready platform is achieved.
Define system architecture while considering hardware, firmware, and software integration.
Work closely with cross-functional R&D teams, including hardware, firmware, software, mechanical, and system engineers.
Support environmental testing, validation, and product qualification activities.
Requirements:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience in board design.
Strong experience with high-speed digital design, including DDR4, FPGA, and mixed-signal systems.
Experience with DC/DC power supply design and simulation.
Hands-on laboratory experience with signal integrity, power analysis, debugging, and validation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to Have:
Experience designing hardware for space, aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability environments.
Experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) simulations.
Experience using OrCAD and/or Allegro PCB design tools.
