What You'll Do:
* Lead the design and development of aerial and mechanical systems throughout the full product lifecycle.
* Own complete assemblies and subsystems, driving them from concept, design, prototyping, testing, and validation through manufacturing and production.
* Develop innovative UAV structures and aeromechanical solutions, including structural design, thermal considerations, and performance optimization.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including software, electronics, algorithms, manufacturing, and operations.
* Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and production teams to ensure successful implementation and scalability.
* Plan and execute engineering tests, analyze results, and drive design improvements based on findings.
* Generate and maintain technical documentation throughout the development process, including design reviews and engineering specifications.
* Support production activities, troubleshoot engineering challenges, and lead continuous product improvements.
* Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and trade-off analyses to support design decisions.
What We're Looking For:
* B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
* 4+ years of experience in mechanical, aeromechanical, or aerospace product development.
* Proven experience leading products or systems from development stages into production.
* Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical design methodologies.
* Experience working with manufacturing processes, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Familiarity with structured engineering development processes and design reviews.
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering results.
* Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
