We are looking for a passionate and dynamic mechanical engineer, with a hands-on approach, to join our R&D team. The role involves the development and testing of new and existing surgery instruments.
Key responsibilities:
– Design and develop core products with the ability to create fast iteration, and rapid prototyping and lead to mass production
– Lead the product development life cycle from concept to feasibility, risk analysis, prototyping, design, implementation and validation of components.
– Test prototypes and develop agile testing systems methodologies to ensure the highest standards of quality.
– Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with internal departments
– Write and review R&D documentation including requirements, test protocols, analysis of test results and report generation for continuous learning and improvements.
– Lead engineering changes and continuously improve our product designs.
Requirements
– 5+ years of experience in mechanical design
– 5+ years of experience with SolidWorks
– Experience in design for medical devices – Must
– Experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) – an advantage
– Experience in surgical instruments design
– Experience with PLMs and ECOs
– Fluent in Hebrew and English
