About the Position:
As a Hardware Manager, you will lead a team of 3–4 engineers (Hardware and Mechanical) and oversee the development of multidisciplinary electronic boards and systems. You’ll manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design to manufacturing and testing, while collaborating closely with mechanics, software, and product leaders.
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the go-to expert for hardware knowledge, develop internal hardware roadmaps, engage with global customers, and propose innovative technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct risk assessments and manage changes within the project scope.
Lead and mentor a team of Hardware and Mechanical Engineers.
Oversee the design, development, and testing of electronic boards and systems.
Manage the project lifecycle from definition through design reviews (PDR/DR) to product release.
Ensure compliance with certification requirements (UL, CE, ATEX, RF testing, environmental tests).
Develop and maintain hardware-software interface (HSI) documents, DVT, DFM, and DFT processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanics, and product leaders.
:Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering – Mandatory.
10+ years of hands-on experience designing analog, digital, RF, and power systems.
Proven experience managing a team of at least 4 engineers.
Deep knowledge of processors, memories, and communication protocols (TCP/IP, USB, I2C, SPI, wireless, cellular).
Extensive experience with ORCAD and laboratory tools (Scope, Signal Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer).
Expertise in writing technical documents (requirements, specifications, HSI).
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
English at a high professional level – Mandatory.
Experience with high-volume product development and production testing tools.
