The position combines system-level ownership, architecture, requirements management, technical decision-making, and hands-on involvement throughout integration and verification.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead system engineering activities throughout the development lifecycle
* Define system architecture, requirements and interfaces
* Drive technical trade-offs across multidisciplinary engineering domains
* Lead design reviews and system-level engineering processes
* Manage system requirements, risks, verification and validation activities
* Work closely with optics, electronics, mechanics, software and other engineering disciplines
* Lead integration and testing activities
* Interface with customers and technical stakeholders
Requirements
* B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optics, Physics or a related engineering field
* 5+ years of experience in System Engineering or complex multidisciplinary system development
* Experience leading engineering processes and system design reviews
* Strong background in integration, testing and V&V
* Excellent technical English
* Experience with electro-optical systems – strong advantage
* Space systems experience – advantage
* Familiarity with DOORS / Polarion, SysML, Matlab, Python or LabVIEW – advantage
