We are looking for a Software Team Lead for a simulation project, combining strong project leadership with hands on development. The team builds complex systems that simulate battlefield environments for training pilots, commanders and operational forces, including 3D graphics, simulation engines, entity behaviors, weapon systems and sensors. The role involves managing the project end to end, defining architecture and interfaces, guiding the team, and ensuring high quality delivery. The work also includes development in React alongside core C++ development.

The role includes

– Leading a software development team in a matrix structure
– End to end responsibility for project execution and software delivery
– Defining software architecture, interfaces and detailed design
– Hands on development in core logic (C++) and front end (React)
– Mentoring, guiding and motivating team members
– Managing interfaces with parallel development teams
– Ensuring adherence to development processes and high quality standards

Requirements:

– Minimum 2 years of leadership or team lead experience
– Strong and proven hands on experience with React
– Deep knowledge and hands on experience in C++ development
– Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design, SOLID principles and software architecture
– Hands on development, coding and integration skills
– Experience with complex software system integration across multiple interfaces – advantage
